Welcome to our Reception page! Mrs Redfern is the teacher and Miss Makinson-Banks is the teaching assistant. 

We work very hard to ensure the children enjoy coming to school and feel safe and happy in our classroom environment. Most of our learning is done through play as the children build up their resilience and independence through carefully chosen activities. Learning is planned around the children’s own interests and lines of enquiry to ensure they are motivated and keen to learn. 

We work closely with families to celebrate all the children’s achievements, at home and at school.
