At Aspull Church Primary School, we take caring for and looking after our school, local community and planet very seriously.

Miss Bailey, our dedicated Eco Committee and the pupils who attend Eco Club after school, have been working tirelessly to educate, support and promote our school in becoming more Eco-friendly and ensure it becomes part of our day to day practice. This has given children of all ages an opportunity to work together in an environment where they can build their confidence, gain leadership skills and model correct Eco-friendly behaviours to the rest of the school.

Our team are proud to be working towards the ‘Eco Schools Green Flag Award’. Being an Eco school will empower pupils, raise environmental awareness and improve our school and local community. Our Eco meetings give the children a voice to be heard in such a vital and key topic - please see our current Action Plan that the Eco Committee have devised. After completing an Environmental Review, these were the areas we decided we needed to improve on as a school.

Also, take a look at our Eco newsletters to find out what work we’ve been getting up to, and the activities we have done to promote being Eco-friendly in and around school.
